Where to breastfeed in your fave malls :)
Happy New Year, Everyone! 🙂
For my New Year’s post, I would like to dedicate this to all the breastfeeding mommies out there who have been really supportive of my blog. You guys know, I am not a pro but you’re all still there for me. Thanks for the positive messages here, in Facebook, Twitter and on Instagram. I have been working on this post for over a year now. Some of the pics, I had to delete and update because some of the malls I visited, have renovated their nursing stations, some naman, have downgraded their nursing stations, do I did not include them na sa post (baka naman they are going to upgrade kasi soon). Anyway, I made this post kasi I know some moms don’t know which mall has nursing stations and the locations of the nursing stations are sometimes hard to find. I know as a new mom, last year, I had trouble finding where to breastfeed Asher. Kanya-kanya lang yan but I still support breastfeeding kahit may cover ako. Deadma na sa nega na nagsasabi na walang cover dapat. Anyway, eto na, here is my post where you guys can breastfeed. I even included a place kung saan ako nagbreastfeed when I went to Cebu 🙂 I hope all you breastfeeding moms find this post helpful 🙂
Rustan’s Makati, 3rd Floor, Babies Section
I think this is newly renovated kasi it did not use to look like this. They have updated the furniture and even the changing station. They have samples of baby products like lotion and diaper cream for you to use. You can also buy the products there in Rustan’s.
Mall of Asia, 3rd Floor, Kids/Babies Section
You can find this nursing station beside the small elevator going up the 3rd floor, next to the kids/girls clothing section. It’s really spacious and there is at least one SM assistant you can help you with changing your baby (the dads are not allowed inside kasi).
In Mothercare BGC, it’s supposed to fit two nursing moms pero, there is always a line lalo na pag busy weekend. Parang ang nangyayari, only one mom uses the place but it is the only nursing station in High Street na okay because the one in the new mall is not yet opened. I just use the big restroom there to breastfeed Asher because it is new and spacious.
Greenbelt 5, Family Lounge, 4th Floor
In Greenbelt 5, they have a family lounge on the 4th floor next to the salons, dental offices, waxing salons, etc. It is really for their special card holders but if you are a breastfeeding mom, you can use the nursing station for free. I was not able to take a pic of the outside because there were a lot of people there (baka sabihin, pinipicturan ko pa sila haha) pero they have two nursing stations na super okay. One of my fave nursing stations kasi enclosed siya and cozy (the picture does not do justice).
Rustan’s Cebu, Kids’/Babies Section
Rustan’s in Cebu has a nice nursing station. The couch is really soft and comfy and it is located in the Kids’ section like all Rustan’s nursing stations. 🙂 I breastfed Asher here a couple of times when The Hubby had work in Cebu for a week . Asher and I spent most of our days in the mall haha:)
Ayala Center Cebu Breastfeeding Station
Ayala Cebu’s nursing station is also nice and okay because may privacy siya- parang restroom, may cubicles per nursing station, you can close the door 🙂 I don’t remember which floor it’s on basta, I used this mga four times when I was there. 🙂
Alabang Town Center, Nursing Station, 2nd Floor, Family Lounge
Alabang Town Center renovated their nursing station. They used to have white see-through curtains lang before. Now the curtains are better and you won’t be able to see the nursing moms inside. I like it… cozy and private like the one in Greenbelt. 🙂
SM BF Paranaque
SM BF ‘s nursing area is small lang, next to the mall’s clinic. The wallpaper is like the one in the nursing station of Mall of Asia. 🙂
Powerplant Mall, Rockwell, Makati, 2nd Floor behind Mesa
This nursing station is the very first nursing station I’ve ever used (so this picture is a year old but it still looks like this so, okay lang hehe). It has two cubicles for nursing. 🙂
Okay, that’s about it for now. I will update this post as soon as I try other nursing stations around the Metro/country. I hope this post was helpful to all of you breastfeeding moms. Happy New Year! Enjoy 2016!!! 🙂
